Cara Seymour, originally from Ashtabula, Ohio, is a Brooklyn based dancer and performer.

Seymour received her B.F.A. in Dance from The Juilliard School.

Her performing career has included work with Company XIV, The Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Bennyroyce Dance, Brian Brooks Moving Company, MOMIX, White Wave Dance, House of Yes, and Spiegelworld. Throughout her time with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Seymour has performed a variety of soloist and titled roles.

Her dancing in La Traviata, Rusalka, Samson et Dalila, and Adriana Lecouvreur, has been nationally televised as part of PBS’ Great Performances.  

Additional performing credits include: The Tonight Show, The Apollo Theatre Gala, Genesis/Conde Nast, 10 Crosby films for Derek Lam, and Performa 2015 with David Hallberg and Francesco Vezzolli.
